Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY Several women attended a sewing class five days last week under the direction 'of Evon Olsen. The 4H girls held their achievement award night on the 3rd. They modeled the sweaters, dresses, etc. they made last summer. Refreshments were served. LaRena Hall's father, James Larson and sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hardy of Salt Lake visited here the first of the week. She went up north with them for a few days to see some of her other relatives. LeFalr took the boys and went to gj her Saturday. Clyde and Irene King were here for a while during deer-season. Yowell, Obe and Dora Wright went to Calif, for a load of furniture. Truman Lyman, Uvon Roundy and Doyle Moosman havij been helping' Obe on his garage. The Ivan Lymans took Arthur and Al-ice, two of their kids with them and went to Salt Lake. They stopped overnight to see Ivan's brother Kirk and fam-ily in Myton. Thd Leland Haws spent several, days in Salt Lake too. (continued inside) BOULDER (continued) The Kay Coombs and Uvon Roundys spent a day In Pan-guitch seeing doctors. Seems like we're always keeping that road hot. Helen Harrison, our school teacher, had a bad case of laryngitis and flu and missed a few days of school. Dor-thy Lyman substituted for her. Perry Davis and a couple of friends from Calif, visited at the Mc LeFevres recently. The veterinarian from Eph-raim was in town last week on business. Ritch Harward and Mr. Shelton were here to see the lower Boulder men about sprinkling systems they are having put. in. Two BLM men, Mr. Ludlow and Mr. Rolf have been here several days Inspecting the winter range. Richard Griffin, Dale Clarkson and Em-eron Peterson went to Pangultch to a Garkane meeting on the 8th. I thought the Relief Society was all organized but several new visiting teachers were sustained Sunday. They are I-dona Haws, Uvada Moosman, Cathleen Winter, Emma Jane Hansen, Nina Moosman (who is also magazine and garment representative), Alice Alvey (who thought she was going to have a rest for a change). Dorthy Lyman, Faye Jepsen Lenore LeFevre and Kay Or-mond were resustained. Truman Lyman and Helen Harrison were put in as geneology sheet inspectors for the ward. Helen is also geneology teacher in the MIA adult class. |
