Show Services For Mrs Willis Funeral services were held In Henrievllle July 11th for Mrs. Ethel Louise Willis who died July 7th in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes. Bp. Harvey Chynoweth conducted the services. Prelude and postlude, Viola Rose; song "Sometime We'll Understand", choir of Tropic, Cannonvilie and Henrievllle: opening prayer, Pres. Thor-ley Johnson; talk by Ivan Willis who also read a tribute from Bryce Canyon employees; song, Malen and Viva Mecham; talk, Samuel Pollock; song "Whispering Hope", girls chorus from Bryce; talk, Ira Llttlefield; song "I Need Thee Every Hour'', choir; benediction, Dewey Willis. The grave was dedicated by Kenneth Gould-Ing. Mrs. Willis was born June 22, 1909 in Henrievllle to Allen Freeman and Dorothy Walker Smith. On August 10, 1927 she married Marion Willis in the Salt Lake Temple. She was active in the LDS Church, holding several offices in the ward. Survivors: husband; sons, Monte of Tropic, Smith of Pangultch: 3 grandchildren; mother of St. Anthony, Idaho; brothers, sisters: James W. Smith, Henrieville; Mrs. Marie Kllnger, Mrs. Winna Smith and Lynne Smith, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Dorothy Austin, Hawaii; Woodrow Smith, Ogden; Hannah Spendlove, Las Vegas. |
