Show HEAPS REUNION The Heaps Reunion was held Aug. 24th at the Draper Park, with 103 attending. A lovely lunch was enjoyed by all, followed by a meeting and election of new officers. The new officers are: Joseph H. Heaps, president; Ad-elbert Heaps, vice president; Stancel Mangum, treasurer; Duane and Irene Heaps, sec-retaries; with Verge Heaps being held over as genealogist. A lovely program was enjoyed by all. While the older folks visited, the younger folks had a nice game of ball. The Heaps family also had surprise visitors, Mr. and Mrs Arden Woolsey, their daughter Joy and her girl friend Le Ann of Taft, Calif., formerly of Escalante; also Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Graff and Mrs. Sanoma Twitchell Vance, of Salt Lake City. |
