Show Wildlifers Set May 10 & 11 As Whoop & Holler '49-er Days Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11. have been set aside as the annual 49er Days by the Panguitch Wildlife Federation. Beards are blossoming on the faces of the braver or lazier men. If you don't wear a beard this year, men. you must get a sha lng permit button from Fr ik Richards or some other button peddler (free ad). According to Monte Marshall, a mammoth parade will start at 1 p.m.; there will bo prizes for the best Wildlife . Floats: $50 first. $30 second, and $20 third. , Immediately after the parade, every youngster, taking a part in it can attend a free show at the Gem Theatre and also get a free candy bar; the grown folks can enjoy a musical program at the Social hall. The Dance held Friday eve-wing will run from "nine til "you drop". Drawing for the prize raffle will be held, as sWill the judging of beard cn-'tries. Saturday, the Panguitch Riding Club is arranging a scries of outstanding flat races interspersed with other events 'at the Fair Grounds. |
