Show Deer Ranee Studies Mad Deer winter range studies and trend counts made annually on the Dixie Deer Herd were completed Sunday. This work, which 1 done cooperatively by the TTtah Fish Game Department, nuresu of Iand Management Forest Service, sportsmen, and livestock Interests, was started the Monday before and ran for even 'consecutive days. i Condition of the forage, strength and numbers of deer, and general range conditions were studied and recorded, The group, which varied from 8 to 10 riders each day, covered areas near Pintura, Leeds, Oleaver Dam Wash. Diamond Valley and Pinto. Results of this work will be presented to the big game board at Cedar City on May 6, at which time recommendations for the coming year's hunt will be-con-Mdered.
