Show Tremonton's I Celebration I Our sister town Trcmonton l'itungly celebrated Pioneer day, I J uly 2Mth, and the celebration fl brought a monster crowd to tliut city lrom all parts of the fl y ul ley. Tim business houses were neatly decorated In flags , uud bunting and the doings ol inc (Uiy were lull of spirit from turly duwn to tho midnight hour. The Uariaud MiliUvy Band livened up things with good musical selections ami lmtny of our citizens joined in the celebration. An excellent program was given at u. D. S. chapel at 11 o'cloeic a. in. The orator of tho ay was President E. G. Peter-lion Peter-lion of tho Utah Agricultural College of Logan, who delivered a splendid address. At the city park In the after-noon, after-noon, tho first attraction was a ball game between Garland and Tremoiiton. It was a hard-fought hard-fought contes and Trcmonton walked off with the honors in a coro of U to 1. Then came the Japanese fencing contests which were full of interest and amus-ed amus-ed the crowd.
