Show VICTIM OF THE HOT SPRING TRAGEDY ' IDENTIFIED TODAY Information has been received at the sheriffs ofllco that seems to clear up tho identity and tho manner in which tho -man met his death at the Hot Springs Sunday. According to tills information in-formation his name is Fred Var-da, Var-da, a Sorblan, 58 years of ago and came to tho United States In 1S89. According to the statement of tho manager of tho Hot Springs, Varda was seized with a stroke of apoplexy while sitting on tho steps of tho plunge. Tho innn fell forward into tho 'pool, in which he was bathing alone. Two other men, who had been In the pool before Varda, had gone to the dressing room when ho entered the pool. When they came out of their rooms they noticed Varda seemed to bo in distress and was in tho water near tho steps. They brought tho man to the big dressing room and worked upon him for 'some time, but the man died in about a half hour's time. Varda 'had no relatives as far as could bo, learned. Ho lived at 25GS Wall avenue, Ogden. |
