Show The 'flu" j Situation Whether It is "Flu" or grip that is confining some of our citizens to their beds, is somewhat some-what of a question, but wo are indued to believe that It is the "Flu," as wo had It and know wo had the "Flu," too. Among the afflicted are tho families of M. D. Evans, Marshal G. ,S. Mowry, M. Abrauson, Joseph H. Peterson, R. T. Astle and Mrs. Jesse Grover. Owing 4o tho condition of affairs, it has been deemed advisable not to allow al-low tho schools, picturo houses, pool halls, etc., to open for an indefinite period. Marshal Mowry Mow-ry was instructed yesterday to inforcothe "mask-wearing" order or-der and see to It that no public gatherings or congregating be 'permitted until such time when tho danger period was over. The 'epidemic seems to go by fits and Jerks and when everything seems clear and safe, behold new cases develop. It is a peculiar pe-culiar disease. Some have it in a very light form, others more Bevere, while It brings death to bthers..- ThQ.BafcsLthlng to do, when you feel "Fluey," is to hike to bed, call a doctor and stay In bed until the M. D. says you can come out. The wearing wear-ing of the mask is a good plan as you do not know when you will bump into someone who, has it or has been txposed to It bo nB to give it to you by getting the person's breath. If you are real frightened that you may get it, Just wear a mask, keep in the middle of tho road and don't talk to anybody. |
