Show Conditions of Burley. Potato Prize Contet, Year 1910. lstj Entries to bo filed on or before May 5th, 1910. 2nd No more than ono crop of one variety of potato must be i grown on ono acre (43,560 feet,) and in caso growor enters more than ono aero, separate blanks must bo filled out for each ad ditional acre. 2rd Tho hills or rows must bo Vr E at least twolvo inches from tho boundry linos of the aero. 1th The contest is confined to the four following varieties: V PimcI) Blow, "Rural Tppe, Not- ted Gem orDalmony Challenge. 5th' The land must bo surveyed sur-veyed by a competent engineer, and satisfactory proff made. 6th "Planting blanks" will be furnishod, and must be filled out and sent to D. E. Burley, Q. P. A., O. S. L. R. R. Co., Salt Lake City, two weeks after potatoes are planted. 7th D. E. Burley, G. P. A,. O. S. L. R. R. Co., Salt Lake City, must bo notified ten days before potatoes are harvostod. 8th During tho growing season sea-son inspection of tho potatoes may be made at any time by re- i prosontatives of tho contribtors. Mh The first pm of $500.00 will be awarded to the acre pro- dticing the largest tonnage of , bost quality marketable potatoes and the second prize of $225.00 will bo awarded to the next best aero.
