Cabins near the river lloated out ln tho water and woro then ground to pieces by tho lco. Tho roar of tho flood and the grinding grind-ing and crashing of tho Icebergs could bo heard six miles away. Relief parties havo been sent from Katalla to tako aid to tho stricken miners to ascertain If there has been much loss of life. |
