Rulck, against Senator Uorah mombors of tho Uarbcr Lumber com pany and others for conspiring to do fraud tho United States of certain ttm ber lands tn Uolse county, Idnho. Senator Uorah made no technical objection to tho Indictment, but stood trial and was acquitted. John I. Wells and Patrick Downs, two of tho othoi defendants, filed pleas In nbatomont to tho Indictment based on tho alleged al-leged Improper conduct of Rulck bo fore the grand Jury In urging tho return re-turn of tho Indictment.
