Show Riverside i Some of our citizens nro anticipating an-ticipating a trip to Mexico to investigate the land situation down there. George Bowcutt, the victim of our only case of small-pox, is getting along as well as could bo expected. A strict quarantine is being observed and our constable, con-stable, Joseph Hadlield, has fumigated all public buildings. This, together with the fact that a groat many of our people are being vaccinated, makes us sanguine that there will bo no spreading of this dreadful disease. dis-ease. L. II. Konnard, Jr., and E. T. Capener have been called to tho county seat to serve as juriors. We hope to see our schools comfortably located in our now school building by Jan. 1, 1910. Wo havo waited long and at great inconvonionces for tho new school house, but whon wo do got it wo can boast of an ideal school building for this locality. It will bo convenient and modern in every respect, with four class rooms, hallway, text book room and principal's office. Heated with steam and well vontulated. C. B. Rasor has moved to town, occupying tho house owned own-ed by Geo R. Hales, James Jardine and family have moved here from llolbrook to spend the winter. Honry Tubbs is moving into tho house formerly occupied by C. W. Parke. Jay Kay. |
