Show County Commissioners. The bonrd of County CJomniKsloncrs met In regular session .March 4th 1007. Full board present. J 1' Ohrlstcnscn, road supcrvlior of Manilla District, appeared and nsktd permission to ue poll tax to mnkc n drain through county road: upon mot-Ion mot-Ion of dir. Valentine said request was referred to Com. Hart with power to act. Petition of II 0 P Hansen ct nl asking for an appropriation of i350 to gravel road for 50 rods south from tho N W corner of .section 12 T 11 N It 3 W, upon motion of dir. Valentino, said petition was granted, sir Hansen also asked that the road grader be used In his district dis-trict during early sprlug when tho matir-iat matir-iat is in tho best of condition, nnd when ho can get poll tax. The matter of opening the road on tho eist side of bee, 1211 3 was referred for investigation to Messrs. Hart and Adams, Hyrum Chrlstcnscn uppenrcd regard lng tho road which bad been opened through his land on Sec. 1011 3 and asked that settlement therefor be made. Action deferred. Hewitt Tolman appeared nnd nsked that his license for peddling merchandise bo remitted for ono year. Upon motion of Chr. Valentine the application wns granted. Henry Secgcr, County Fish & Oamo Warden, appeared nnd made report of the condition of tho fish nud game In tho county and nsked that tho board take action in having screens put in the streams where water is conducted through plpo for power purposes. Upon motion of Chr. Valentino thel County Attorney was Instructed to col- j lectHoxeldcr Co's portion of taxes for 1005-0 nnd nlso to collect tnxes on trnu-slent trnu-slent stock, sliccp, etc. which wcro assessed as-sessed In Hoxelder County. Tbo clerk's Recorder's nnd Sheriff's report of fees collected during February, and tho Auditor's report of Incidental olllce expense were, upon motion of 4Mr. Hnrt accepted Judge Maughan appeared and asked for a typewriter's desk, n table for tho Judge's chamber, a book-case on tho bench and n change in the desk on tho bench.
