Bfl There was a special meeting of the BB Town Hoard of Garland held in the BB rooms of thi Oarland Commercial Club BB Tuesday night, April 11, there being BV present at said meeting I'res. W II Howe, Bflj Trustees T II Edwards, John Lnlit, BB T K Sccrlst and II 0 Vnnnusdeln. After the minutes of tho previous meeting had been read by the Clerk and duly BB approved and various other matters of minor Importance discussed, the follow. Ing resolution was brought before the BB meeting, discussed and rlnally passed: Bv Hkoi.Vki, that the President and 1 Clerk ')f the Town Hoard, be, nnd they B nro hereby authorlxed to borrow Twelve H Hundred Dollars, with Interest at tho J rate of 8 per annum from date borrow- H rd until paid, interest payable quarterly, and said ('resident and Clerk are hereby B authorlxed to execute a nolo for and In fl behalf of the Town of Oarland covering BB raid loan. The above loan I being made by the Town of Oarland for the purpose of pay-H pay-H Ing fur the Ton u building, jail cells, etc, Bfl rccontly erected. H Trustees l.Htit and PcrrUt wren then B appointed a committee on building. The President alto nppointrd a committee, ecu i ting of .TohnT Unit and T. II.
