Show Stake Primary Fair. Under the auspices of the Primary as. soclatlons of IJox Elder Stake, a very successful fair wns given at the nrlgham City Opera House last Saturday, .lime 2nd, commencing nt 8 a. m. and closing with an entertainment in the evening. Hepresentatlves of all the wards of the stake were in attendance and each ward contributed various articles of fancy work, clothing and other useful things, which were disposed of to the visitors. The object of the fair was to raise funds for the Stake Primary association. The associations of this city and East Garland contrlhuted some very hand-some hand-some articles for the occasion. Mrs. Mantlna Jensen, Stake Prlmarv aid, and Mrs. Nellie Hose went down to assist In the work. The display of fancy work, notions, Mowers, etc., was grand and presented a very beautiful scene. Hefreshinents were also served. The Opera House was crowded all dav long with Interested visitors. In the afternoon a matinee was glvt by members of the Primary association which was very pleasing and entertaining entertain-ing The entertainment was also repeated repeat-ed In the evening and was well attended The Stake Presidency of the Primary association were well pleased with the Interest manifested by the various wards of the stake. |
