Show Stake Primary Fair. Under the auspices of the Primary associations as-sociations of liox Hlder Stake, a very successful fair was given at the Brlgliam City Opera House last Saturday, June 2nd, commencing nt 8 a. m. and closing with an entertainment In the evening. Keprcsentatlves of all the wards of the stake were in attendance nnd each ward contributed various articles of fancy work, clothing and other useful things, which were disposed of to the visitors. The object of the fair was to raise funds for the Stake Primary association. The associations of this city and Fast Garland contributed some very hand some articles for the occasion, Mrs. Mantina Jensen, Stake Primary aid, and Mrs. Nellie Itose went down to assist In the work. The display of fancy work, notions, (loners, etc., was grand and presented a Tery beautiful scene. Kefreshments were also served. The Opera Utilise was crowded all day long with Interested visitors. In the afternoon a matinee was glvm by members of the Primary association which was very pleasing and entertaining entertain-ing The entertainment was also repeated repeat-ed in the evening and was well attended The Stake Presidency of the Primary association were well pleased with the Interest manifested by the various wards of the stake. |
