The people of the Territory of Utah eend greeting to Orsou Uiood, defendant. You are hereby required to appear in an action brought against you by the above named plaintiff, in the District Court of the First Judicial District of tho Territory of Ltuh, and to answer the complaint Sled therein, there-in, within ten days, (exclusive of the day of service) after the service on you of this summonsif sum-monsif served within this county; or, if served out of this county, but hi this district, within twenty days; otherwise within forty days or judgment by default will be taken against you. according to the prayer of this complaint. Plaintiff alleges that she was marticd to the def endant in the citr oC Provo, county of Utah and territory of Utah, on May 10, li9i; that her maiden name was Elizabeth Laird; that as an issue of said marriage mar-riage u son was ooru to piaintiff and deiend-ant, deiend-ant, to wit: Robert Blood now one j ear old; that ever since said marriage plaintiff has been a loving, obedient and outiiul wife: but that in the month of July, law, dleudaut deserted plaintiff and has ever since sain date aosented himself Imui plaintiff; that ever since said July 1893 und during tne time between said marriage and said July It'.U, defendant has wholly failed o contribute to the support or maintenance of plu'ut.lf iud cyer since the date last aloresaid, plaintiff has been compelled com-pelled to rely joh-ly upon her own exertions for a support and liviiiood.
