A sumptuous recast was furnishei, charmingly interspersed with dancing, sineing, etc. The party on Friday was given under the management of the students's literary and debating society. The feature of this one was all the gentlemen were furnished with an envelope containing a bow which was to be compared with one worn by a lady, who, bb soon as her cavalier presented himself was invited to join her little circle, proceed to the home of one of their number and partake of a grand supper. It is needless to say The Dispatch man is sure he secured the belle of the ball and waa the recipient of the best supper had in town. Lewis has a sample of pure aluminum from his mine in Spanish Fork canyon, it has all the qualities of the very best of this valuable metal, as light as dry pine wood, a3 tough as steel, of a bright silver color that does not tarnish. Mr. Lewis says he will develop his mine this next spring and place it on the market. The St. Louis Globe Democrat man was in town last week trying to boom his paper.
