Show County Court. At Monday afternoon's session of the county court a very great amount of time was devoted to looking up the records of and inquiring into the matter mat-ter of relinquishing the county's claim in lot 2 block 42 plat A, property of E B. Welsh, sold for taxes. E. a. Ford appeared for Mr. Welsh, who claims that thetaxrs were fully paid for 1892 and 1S93. The matter was referred o Couuty Attorney Gash. The report of Eii Openshaw showing th it hi accounts for 1893 as collector of taxes have been settled in full was received. W. W. Barnett's resignation as justice jus-tice of the peacj at Spring Lake was accepted. The assessment roll for 1894 was received re-ceived from Assessor Lund, and will be placed in the hands of the collector. The probate judge was authorized to obtain the warrant for the amount appropriated ap-propriated to Utah county for mapping map-ping and platting and the court adjourned ad-journed until this morning at 10 o'clock at which time business was again resumed. Leandro Steel, living at the mouth of Provo canyon aeked for help in behalf be-half of a crippled son. Referred to Selectman Se-lectman Deal. Deputy Surveyor Searle asked for the purchase of government note 3 on points established in Utah county since 1872. Levi A. Colvln of Pay6on waa appointed ap-pointed sheep inppector for the county. W. B. Barnett was appointed to fill the vacancy in the Spring Lake jus-tic. jus-tic. ship occasioned by the resignation resigna-tion of W. W. Barnett. The regular report of selectmen were j received and audited.
