Show An Ancient Telephone. An English officer named Harrington discovered in India a working telephone between the two temples of Panj about a mile apart. The system is said to have been in operation at Pauj for over 2,000 years. Egyptologists have found unmistakable unmis-takable evidence of wire comiimnica-tions comiimnica-tions between some of the temples of the earlier Egyptian dynasties, but whether these served a telegraphic, telephonic tel-ephonic or other purpose is not stated.
