Show A Pin In Her Eye. Mrs. Anna Swinarton of Chicago secured se-cured a verdict of $10,000 damages in the court of common pleas of New York city before Judge Giegerich and a jury last week against George le Boutillier, dry goods merchant of Fourteenth street. Mrs. Swinarton went into the store on March 13, 1889, and was waiting for some change after having made some purchases. She had her little boy with her. She declared that some one of the cashboys in the storekthrew a pin which struck her in the eye, injuring it so that "if was removed to save the ether eye, Vf&je- sued to recover $50,000 damages. |
