Show Ml ST ALL WORK T0(iETHER. Now that (he fact is beyond dispute that the time has come for the politi-; politi-; cal issues of this territory to be fought (.lit hereafter ou national lines, it would be one of the best thing that could happen to see the different factions fac-tions of each party coine together, and pledge their hearty support and sympathy sym-pathy for the success of their party, be it Democratic or llepublicau. In this important day, when the political revolution rev-olution of this Territory is in progress, it will not do for either party to be divided against itself. And whatever grievance the individual may imagine he has, the welfare of the party must not be made to suffer in consequence. This would be folly, and the person disaffected must put away such childish child-ish play. Notwithstanding the fact that Utah county is the banner county of the Democratic party of Utah, in that she was the first to come out and organize herself, declaring against the iMiiepublioan doctrine of disfranchisement, disfranchise-ment, yet she stands ready to-day to ciasp hands with her Democratic friends wherever they be, and with Uiem woru heart and soul for the triumph of the party. Just now the Republicans of this Territory are demonstrating to the Democratic party the folly of harboring harbor-ing petty grievances. Instead of coining coin-ing together as one man and giving their undivided support to perfect an organization, they are fighting each other for supremacy with more bitter-I bitter-I ness and hatred than if they were ' opposed to each other politically. This is a hard lesson for the Republi- cans to learn and will hurt their cause considerably; for white they are Gght-'"W Gght-'"W K v ' f,nio,) themselves, the Democrats, thoroughly organized and working in jj harmony together, are reaping the re-i re-i '" suits. |
