Show It is a positive fact that J. R. Boshard is selling more pounds of granulated sugar for the dollar than any other store in town. A. J. Stewart, Jr., and party of twenty, with one car of emigrant moveables, left this city via the Union Pacific Monday morning for New Mexico. The establishment of Dunn & Co has now opened up, and the assignee Mr. Ed. L. Jones, announces that they are giving inducements to the trade, and special inducements on certain lines. Henry E. Rawlixgs and Enoch Gray were before Justice Noon yesterday yester-day on a charge of fast driving through the streets of Frovo. They plead not guilty and their case was set for today to-day at two o clock. The Fourth of July is heading this way, and will be here shortly. It will not be long, and if we are going to make the old bird flop its wings on that day, now is the proper time to commence preparations. Anderson the photographer has taken in Mr.Jos. Madsen as a partner. The public will remember that Mr. Madsen has been in the business for years, and is one of tlie oldest and most experienced photographers in the Territory. He is acknowledged to be one of the best retouchers in the countrv. The R. G. W. will sell round trip tickets to Salt Lake City for one fare, on the occasion of the Y. P. M. I'. A Conference to be held in Salt Lake City on Sunday and Monday May 31st and June 1st. Tickets win be on sale May 30, and 31, and June 1, good to return up to and including June 8th, so as to nable those attending to remain and witness the June musical festival in the large Tabernacle, June 6th. For this latter event tickets will be on sale June 4, 5, and 6, also good to return up to and including June 8. Fare for the round trip $2 00. |
