In these activities the teacher's function is to motivate students to work with One another. Transmitter of academic knowledge requires the teacher to provide material that is exciting and meaningful and delivered with imagination. Vital, also, is the teacher’s ability to translate and present standard material in ways that are relevant to students’ lives, and their current situations. Effective exploration of values requires that the teacher help youngsters to examine their own beliefs and anticipate the consequence for themselves and - initiative to which the students respond. The teacher, as a value explorer, assists students in exploring their own beliefs and values and see the elations between such others.
