He has served in the Oregon Portland Spanish Speaking Mission. He is scheduled to report on his mission October 9 in the Gunnison 5th Ward at 11 a.m. Bradley is the son of Drs. John and Christine Jackson of Gunnison. Awards Pike - Hansen Dustin Corey Hansen and KateLynn DarThel Pike have chosen Friday, October 7, 2011 to be sealed together for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS Temple. Dustin is the son of Corey G. and Jill M. Hansen of Elmo, Utah. He graduated from Emery High School and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Oakland, California. He attended Utah Valley University and is currently an apprentice lineman employed with Sturgeon Electric in Denver, Colorado. KateLynn is the daugh- ter of Frank and Debra Pike of Gunnison, and Robert and Jennifer Norton of St. George. She graduated from Gunnison Valley High School and attended Dixie Essentials in St. George to become a dental assistant. She is currently employed for Barry Family Dental Group in Orem. The couple will reside in Denver, Colorado. Please join them at a celebration of their marriage on Friday October 7th at the Elmo LDS chapel from 7-9 p.m. or at an open house on Tuesday October 11th at the Gunnison City Hall from 6-8 p.m. Ashley, Lindsey 81' Austin Manwill Humphrey - Childs Larry Jake Childs and McKaylee Lynn Humphrey will be sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS Temple on September 30, 2011. An open house will be held in their honor that evening, September 30th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Childs' residence, 47 S 100 E in Gunnison. Additionally, a reception will be held Saturday October 1st from 6-9 p.m. at the Alpine Arts Center, 450 Alpine Highway, Alpine, Utah. Jake is a 2006 graduate of Gunnison Valley High School and will graduate in June with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) from the University of Southern Nevada. McKaylee is a 2010 graduate of New Canaan High School, New Canaan Connecticut. She is currently studying psychology at Brigham Young University. Jake is the son of Larry and Kristal Childs. He is the grandson of Janet and Jay Childs of Gunnison and Charles and Elizabeth Payton of Oakley, ID. McKaylee is the daughter of Jennifer and Danny Humphrey of Alpine. She is the granddaughter of Quentin Humphrey of Tennessee, Sulianna and Viliami Afeaki of Tonga, Gary Rogers of Virginia and Robert Hunt of California. Gunnison City will be holding a special Fall Cleanup! The Annabella 2nd Ward recognized three youth of the Manwill Family for their accomplishments. Austin Manwill received recognition for obtaining his Eagle Scout. He created and installed signs for the Town of Annabella for their 100 celebration and was recently recognized in a Court of Honor. He participated in sports, Sterling Scholar, and clogging. He is currently in preparation for serving a mission and furthering his education. Ashley Manwill completed her Young Women Recognition requirements during the past winter and received her Young Women Recognition Award. Ashley is a senior at South Sevier High School. She is in- volved with being a member of the South Sevier Sensation, the National Honor Society, and a clogging team with the Green Valley Dance Studio. Lindsey Manwill completed her Young Women Recognition requirements during the past winter and received her Young Women Recognition Award. Lindsey is a senior at SSHS. She is involved with SSHS Girls Soccer, softball, the National Honor Society, and a clogging team with the Green Valley Dance Studio. Their parents are Kim and Vickie Manwill of Annabella. Their grandparents are Bernell and Donna Manwill of Centerfield, and Susan Anderson and the late Glen Whitlock of Mayfield. First Birthday Presley Jean Wanner Presley Jean Wanner turned one on September 15th. She celebrated her special day with family and friends at a party held at her home. Presley is an active, happy little girl who loves to play peek-aboo and patty-cake. She loves to chase her big sister Tenley around and try to be just like her. We all love you so much Presley. You make our lives so much brighter. Presley is the daughter of Michael and Mekesha Wanner.
