Small groups of students spent an hour at each session, applying each session's concept to an imaginary smoothie company. "We learned a lot about how to run our own business and everything that goes into it," reported Kelcey Hatch, President of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at GVHS. Of the event, Darlene Wabel, Central Region Pathway Coordinator, had this to say, "This event allows high school students to have hands-on ex- perience in five different career areas to see if any of them would be of interest to them in their future education plans." Snow College Richfield is planning a similar event for the spring in which students will be able to explore more technical careers that may include Automotive Collision Repair, Auto Body, Diesel Mechanics, Cosmetology, and Allied Health Programs, to name a few.
