school there is a great deal of credit due to judge kryger tor for the faithful performance of his duty in visiting all the students ab ib sent from school each day to learn the cause of their absence he takes action it if necessary to force their at but as yet his influence has been sufficient without court action through the schools we expect to reach many things that otherwise would be very difficult to reach and we wish to aid the c ty and wish their aid in making this one of the best schools in the state and bring ing up real men and arid women our school playground apparatus will soon be completed so that we can have it put up and keep the stu dents busy outside as well as inside however at the present time they are quite busy with three footballs six playground balls bats two has bas ket balls and volley balls it is in te resting to see all of the students playing rather than throwing rocks as thea the started the first week be fore our play equipment came our gymnasium being rebuilt from the old school house Is rapidly near ing completion it is going to be a very valuable building and is a ere dit to the town the manual train ing boys under the supervision of mr paulson
