Kenny Parcell, a sales agent with RE/MAX Results in Spanish Fork, is president-elect. Officers serve a one-year term on the association's executive committee, representing more than 13,000 realtors in Utah. Parcell has been a realtor for 13 years. He specializes in residential real estate and is the youngest person ever appointed to a position on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Realtors. Parcell recently completed a term as 2008 president of the Utah County Association of Realtors and received the organization's Realtor of the Year award in 2006. He was named one of Realtor Magazine's Kenny Parcell "Top 30 Realtors under 30" in 2001 and one of Utah Valley Magazine's 'Top 40 Entrepreneurs under 40" in 2006. Parcell has been inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and is a RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Wilson retiring State Farm Insurance Agent, Steve Wilson, has announced his retirement after nearly 28 years as an agent on Main Street here in Spanish Fork. An open house will be held at his office at 220 North Main Street for all clients ,and friends on Tuesday, Dec.. 29 from 9 a.m.-5:30 pm. Steve would like to express his deep appreciation for all the support, loyalty and friendship directed his way all these years. There is still a way to help some families in need before Christmas.- The Spanish Fork Utility Department is looking for businesses to pay a month's utility bill for a family in need. They have several families in town that have small children and need this assistance, especially at this time of year. Call Seth Perrins at (801) 804-4500. Courtesy photo CHRISTMAS BOX HOUSE: Primrose Retreat, 978 East Expressway Lane, Spanish Fork, has partnered with the Kiwanis Club to provide needed gifts for the kids at the Utah Valley Christmas Box Club. The Christmas Box Club seeks to prevent child abuse, and offers clothing and needed items for children taken out of abusive situations. They are in need of necessities like shoes, pajamas, jackets, etc. Primrose Retreat has set up two angel trees for people to come and select an item they would like to purchase and donate.
