Luminaries : Everyone is welcome to participate in the annual lighting of luminaries at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery on Christmas Eve. These luminaries are placed on the graves of loved ones. Luminaries are created by placing a candle inside of a paper bag to function as a luminary. The bag will not catch fire if the candle is placed in a jar before it is placed in the paper bag. The city will provide a pile of sand that will be on the pavement directly south of the records building. Citizens may use this sand to fill their paper bags. As darkness descends on the. cemetery, hundreds of luminaries light up the cemetery. Don't miss the chance to see this special event ADVERTISE IN THE CLASSIFIEDS Call The Sentinel 794-4964 |
