One scholarship was designated for a fine arts student and the other was for an agricultural student. Recently, the family decided that since they had grown up in Salem, they would donate, through the Nebo Education Foundation, over $8,000 to the new Salem Hills High School — half to the fine arts program and the other half to the agriculture program. The extra funding certainly helps students to be more successful. Anyone can donate to a specific school, classroom or program through the Nebo Education Foundation, which is a 501 (c) (3) organization. The foundation was created to bring businesses and donors together for the benefit of Nebo School District children. Your contribution is a tax deductible charitable gift, as provided by law.
