This group has been around since 1994 when they first got to- gether at Utah State University (USU). They opened with "I Need Thee Every Hour," and spoke throughout the fireside to introduce and put more meaning into the songs they sang. Voicemale sang a variety of songs ranging from "A Poor Wayfaring Man" to a Scottish Ballad of plugging their noses and hitting their chests, to more religious songs, and then back to "It's a Small World" complete with a mechanical reenactment of the Disneyland show. The closed with "Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy." The Family Fireside is just at the head of all that is planned for the rest of Salem Days with the theme of "Community of Unity."
