He was born July 6, 1923 in Panguitch to Marion Henry and Ellen Maria Owens Englestead. He married Louise "Henrie on May 28, 1940 in Panguitch. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She preceded him in death August 6,1986. Cary! Hatch and Ray slipped off together after one date and got married February 20, 1987 in Page, Az. and have lived happily for the past 20 years blending both families into one great family unit.
