Show M3IA311 flAll Bowling alley Which sport do the most Americans play? According to the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America, it's not basketball, baseball or football, but bowling. More than 70 million Americans bowled last year. Located on the first floor of the Student Life and Wellness Center, the 6 lane certified bowling alley is equipped with televisions, couches and counter tops for food. The new bowling alley will be a hot spot for not only students of UVU but also the community. The bowling alley hours are Monday through Thursday from noon to 11:00 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from noon to midnight. Monday through Thursday, the rates per game for students are $2.50 and Fridays and Saturdays $3.00. NonUVU students are $2.75 on weekdays and $3.50 on the weekend. Children 12 and under are $2.25 and $2.50 respectively. Shoe rentals are $2.50 for all adults and students, while children shoe rentals are $1.50. You can also reserve lanes by the hour Monday through Saturday after 6:00 pm. It is $3/30 minutes and $6/hour. Both rates do not include shoes. The bowling alley is a great addition and will give the students another activity to give them a break from class. The bowling alley also has Friday date night and Monday Family night. There will also be an Intramural Bowling league for the more competitive student. Whether you are there for recreation, just to hang out or for competition, there is something for everyone here at the alley. |
