The Wolverines have jumped out to a 6-1 record early in the season, including wins against in-state rivals Utah State and Dixie State. The only blemish on the team's record thus far in the season has been a two-point double overtime loss to a Utah team that went to the Elite Eight last season. "Success on the road has been elusive," Head Coach Cathy Nixon said. "We have to be consistently successful and hope this team will be able to perform." SUU, Dec. 7 On the last day of class before finals, UVSC takes on Southern Utah in a match-up that looks to be fierce, despite the Thunderbirds poor record so far. The Wolverines should put on a show that night against SUU. BYU, Dec. 16 UVSC does not return home until a week later when BYU comes into the McKay Events Center.
