For those who left to go home and missed out on some of the concerts here is a small sample of what you missed: June, Pearl Jam, Warped tour (which consisted of bands like Thursday, Rise Against, and Motion City Soundtrack), The Format, and last but certainly not least Death Cab for Cutie. Death Cab for cutie rocked the McKay Event Center on August 8 and with the exception of the opening band Mates of State was a perfect end to an already amazing summer. This concert contained everything that any good concert should, Including an amazing drum solo (well, maybe a drum battle) between the lead singer Ben Gibbard and the drummer. This was the highlight of the concert and left chills because of its shear beauty. To start off the encore they played the song Heaven off of their album Plans and did it See DEATH CAB* B8 The 2006 Woodbury Invitational has once again commenced.
