Show DAILY UTAH CHRONICLE November 2010 FOOTBALL continued from Page 1 seniors Matt Asiata and Eddie Wide. Just as they did in their win over Air Force—when the two runners combined for 179 yards on 51 attempts— Utah went to the rush 35 times against SDSU, picking up 138 yards. Although the Utes averaged just 3.9 yards on the ground, they scored three rushing touchdowns and kept the pressure off Wynn to gain all of the yardage. In the Utes' two losses, they've been held to less than ioo rushing yards. Disrupting Heaps will be key for the Utes secondary. Of quarterbacks in the MWC, only Air Force's Tim Jefferson has a lower completion percentage (52.2) than Heaps' 55.1 percent. Although he's looked good against the bottom four teams in the MWC, when put under heavy pressure, Heaps has proved vulnerable. Burton said that coming off of a three turnover game for the Utes' secondary is well prepared to attempt to do just that. "It wouldn't have been a good deal for us if we dropped another one, but we didn't, and we came out to win, and we need to go out and do the same against BYU," Burton said. "You kind of get your swagger back." Kickoff for the game at RiceEccles Stadium is scheduled for 3:3o p.m. j.hibbard@ chronicle.utah.edu Utah Season Stats 37.3 221 162.9 251.7 414.6 16-11 63-542 10-15 29:55 46 9 Points per game First downs Rushing yards per game Passing yards per game Total yards per game Fumbles/lost Penalties/yards 4th down conversions Average time of possession 3rd down % BYI P 24.7 236 172.8 186.9 359.7 16-7 62-509 8/19 30:27 46 SCORE BY QUARTERS 1" 2nd 3rd 4" OT total 54 162 111 80 3 410 Utah 101 72 54 45 0 272 BYU 13 Planned Parenthood® a responsible choice for a ewe re annini our *ow reinanc3!
