The service was held Saturday, May 21 at Leavitt’s Mortuary and Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St. in Ogden, Utah. Our sweet Irv passed January 21, 2022. He will forever be missed, cherished, and loved. Amie Gregory Johnson September 18, 1973 ~ May 13, 2022 Every family needs a Tigger and Amie was ours. From the get-go she was full of vim and Amie Johnson vigor. She was born September 18, 1973 to Douglas and Danna Gregory one year after her oldest brother Travis and ahead of two younger brothers—Tyler and Samuel. She was joyful, easy to be around, and her exuberance charmed all. Although she had no children of her own, Alan H. Larsen November 17, 1929 ~ May 14, 2022 Alan H. Larsen, 92, passed away May 14, 2022. He was born November 17, 1929 in Liberty, Utah to H. Martin Larsen and Annie May Shaw Larsen. He graduated from Weber High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Alan married the love of his life and best friend Lois Egan, September 8, 1949. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after many years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling and being with his family traveling and camping. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, she was adored by her nieces and nephews. A graduate in communications from the University of Utah, Amie was an articulate, talented writer and it showed through her work. She animated any work environment and eagerly shared her expertise with anyone who needed help. Her career was important to her. She loved working. Amie’s high-spirited personality could disarm anyone with ease. She often made lifetime friends with her colleagues. She was born in Utah, but her oasis was in West Hollywood California where she passed away on May 13, 2022. The family celebrated Amie’s life on Friday May 27, 2022. (Marla) Larsen (Farr West); three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Lowell and Bruce. He was preceded in death by his son Kelly L. Larsen, daughter Shelly K. Larsen and grandson Justin. Special thanks to the N. Ogden 16th Ward, Inspiration Hospice, and family! Graveside services were held Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Ben Lomond Cemetery in N. Ogden. Condolences may be sent to the family at myers-mortuary.com. Faye Isabel Thornock October 1, 1932 ~ May 9, 2022 Faye Isabel Thornock, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1932, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Jay and Agnes Averett. She married Clyde Thornock in 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They were married for nearly 68 years at the time of Clyde’s passing on July 23, 2018. Mom had a great sense of style and worked as a fashion buyer at a Wolfes for many years. Her fashion sense was only surpassed by her great sense of humor, and many have shared memories of her ability to make them laugh. She retired from the IRS. During retirement mom and dad loved to travel and spent winters in their motor home. They enjoyed time in Yuma, Arizona where they had many interests and good friends. Faye is survived by her daughters, Debbie L. (Kent) Bingham of Harrisville, Kathy L. Doran of Riverdale and Lisa A. (Michael) Hansen of Eden; 7 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; parents; sisters, LaVon Andrews, Onadel Coley, Jeri Ashby; and brother, Jay Averett. Funeral Mass was held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4050 S. 3900 W., West Haven. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. The family would like to thank the staff at The Gardens, The Lodge, and Encompass Hospice for the compassionate care offered to mom especially her “GIRLS” at the Lodge.
