Runners and families are invited to enjoy a casual, fun, trail run and an outdoor pancake breakfast at ONC during this annual event. The 5K course is two laps winding through 152 acres on dirt trails. Eccles Art Center Announces “RIZE” Art Auction The Eccles Art Center announces “RIZE” Art Auction 2022 being held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, 2415 Washington Blvd. Ogden. A social begins at 5:30 p.m. Attending patrons may peruse and purchase the artwork of ten to fifteen vendor artists while nibbling on appetizers and wandering through the Carriage House Sales Gallery II to discover and buy artful treasures. Or observe the seven artists painting live for the upcoming auction at 8:30 p.m. Artists represented in the Live Auction include Mac Stevenson, Lester Lee, Steve Stauffer, Joyce Baron, Darryl Erdmann, David W Jackson, Aaron Fritz, and Kristi Grussendorf. A delightful dinner will be served Ogden Nordic Recognized for Their Contribution to the Community On Tuesday, March 22, Ogden Nordic received a certificate of Appreciation from Weber County Commissioners noting the contributions of Ogden Nordic in maintaining the winter trails at North Fork Park. The certificate states, “With sincere appreciate of your extraordinary volunteer efforts and partnership with grooming the trails in North Fork Park.” Ogden Nordic is an Ogden Valley nonprofit that partners with the Weber County Parks and Recreation Department to groom trails for winter cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking in North Fork Park. This allows year-round access to the beauty of the park. Teachers who work on this project with their class and submit entries from their entire class will be entered in a drawing to win a free ONC wildlife presentation in their classroom!
