Show BUSY PARENTS, DRUGS Underscores Problems Of Youth Film A dramat'r new C nrtl f.im which hits the contemporary pob'em of wayward youth and dtugs 's now available for renting by ward stake and ohr groups. Titled That Which W. Lost, the film is being shown now to leadership groups in stake meetings. It is of great interest in those areas where youth are involved with diugs ana points out a solution where the Church is concerned The f.lm already is in demand by groups other than those involved with the Church. Other organizations such as civic and others have groups, parent-teache- r asked concerning the of the film for their organizations. u-- The movie was shot on location in Los Angeles and profes uonal actors were used. Actual hippies and their pad are used in one sequence of the film, directed by Scott Whitaker and produced by Brigham Young LTmversitys motion picture film division. Grant Lipton, an aspiring young actor, plays the part of Rick Baldwin, the troubled teenager. Jimmy Esadero plays the part of Tur- tle, the head hippie. Terry Mayo, a member of the Chut eh, plays Lily, Turtles girl friend, who helps get the boy on the right path. Chuck Shull plays Woody Baldwin, the doctor father of Pick, and Allan Diet-leialso a Church member, plays Bishop Tyler. n, Larry Webb, Priests' quorum adviser, talks to Lily, the hippie, at her pad about Rick Baldwin. Rick's father. Dr. Woody Baldwin, tries to revive Lily, who has been on dope, when she collapses while high on heroin.
