Its fun all the way. Although the story is about outlaws, it doesnt deal with them in conventional fashion. Everything is played for laughs, so the outlaws also are not glamorous. The dialogue is crisp and funny. For instance, in one scene, Butch and Sundance are cornered on a mountain overlooking a deep pool and rapids. Butch wants to jump, but the Kid Paul Newman plays likeable Butch, the man who leads robberies of banks and trains, but does so because he feels this is his job. Redford is his PROVO scene as highlights. There is one In which a deputy i , trying to recruit a posse to go after Butch and Sundance, but no we will respond.
