Target date for a new chapel and Church center complex in Frankfurt is June, 1970, with work moving ahead, says Karl Lagcrberg, who heads up the building and construction end of the Churchs building department in Europe. these departments will be housed under one roof. Only the mission headquarters will have separate offices. Frankfurt is the distribution center for Germanic Europe and Italy for the Church and in addition also has central offices for the building, financial and legal departments for continental Europe. Also housed in this city are the real esute, architectural and genealogy departments. The new building maintenance department also will be given quarters in the building. When the new building is completed all The chapel will contain 12,000 square feet of space and will have a chapel and cultural hall as well as classrooms. It is designed so that classrooms can be added as the need arises, says Dean Pierce, who heads the architectural department here. Property for the new building complex about one and a quarter acres in Frankfurt. Is The office building will be attached' to the rear of the chapel complex and will be three stories above ground. The basement and first floor will house the distribution center which does the printing of magazines and other supplies. The other two floors will be occupied by all the other departments, except the mission, in Frankfurt. Plenty of parking space is provided.
