We saw no sign of the large game animals until we had topped out at the ridge which separated the Weber ar.d Chalk Creek drainages. Then one of the moose could be seen in the willow patch along the Weber River. We decided to check out the and with help from snowmobiles, and after working deep snow, we were able to get within a hundred feet without disturbing them.
