in the Manti LDS Temple March 12 1963 He was a member of the LDS Church He had been employed in road construction by LA S'oung Construction Co and VC Mendenhall Construction Co until his retirement reproduction at Texas A&M University sity of Tennessee-AtomiCommission c Energy He began his work with USU Extension as a livestock specialist county agent and area coordinator in the Uintah Basin During that time he did innovative work that boosted cattle production and profits to area ranchers He also taught courses at the Uintah Basin Center for Utah Slate University From 1982-198- 4 Austin lived in Somalia Africa and worked as the livestock specialist on the Utah Suite University Somalia Project In his present assignment Austin has been praised by county commissioners and colleagues alike for his expertise and "continuous motivating direction" He and his wife Rea live in Annabclla where he enjoys gardening sporLs and working with people and animals USU Extension is the educational link between the university and the adults and youths of the state It includes the youth program and the continuing education arm of the university 4-- H Rula Ipson from the Utah Council
