Commander, 775th Civil Engineer Squadron J ust as in "Wedding Crashers" for wedding season, Airmen need to be ready for wartime missions. Typical OREs and ORIs are based upon simulated deployments to a country of interest, commonly referred to as Base "X," and broken into two phases. Phase I will be gathering, processing and deploying personnel and assets to the combat location. Mobility folders get the fine-tooth comb to ensure •Airmen are trained and ready to go and pallets of equipment, needed to get the job done, are built and processed. The units' focus for this deployment is on preparation and practice for following OREs/ ORI. Once "arrived" at the simulated deployed location, Phase II begins. During the exercise, the base will perform 24-hour operations. The 388th and 419th Fighter Wings will ensure flying combat operations are executed, demonstrating the ability to operate and survive under a variety of scenarios. Support from the 75th Air Base Wing will aid in air base survival and recovery to ensure mission continuation. This is a great opportunity for the 388/419th Fighter Wings and the 75th Air Base Wing to practice together to refine their processes and war skills. The ORE provides evaluation on how Hill Air Force Base is responding to a multitude of potential combat situations. Tasks that Airmen do every day MASTER SGT. The goal of every ORE is to do better than the last time and strive to improve performance. A vital part of training our personnel is creating the effect of a threat environment. Armed with an Airman's Manual, troops will be placed in situations requiring them to think Microbrews, chocolate and cheese at Club Hill Aug. 27 B uffalo Brewfest will be held Aug. 27, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the grassy area around Club Hill and the patio. Sample microbrews will be on hand from many of Utah's premier microbreweries. Club Hill will be cooking up a barbeque and there will be live entertainment on stage. Prizes will be given away including a trip for two to the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. Red Desert Candy Co. will be pairing their candy with the various brewers' samples. The Torrey, Utah-based company's chocolate and cheese presented by Beehive Cheese Co. will be available to pair up with the various brews. Advance tickets are on sale at Club Hill, Outdoor Recreation, Hubbard Golf Course and the Information, Tickets and Tours Office, for $10 for a total of 10 tasting tickets and a drawing ticket. Signature sampling glasses will go to the first 400 tickets sold. Additional sampling tickets will be available for sale at the event itself.
