He was born on May 21, 1992, in Ogden, the son of Michael L. and Colleen Christiansen Perry. Austin was a bright and articulate boy. He loved and was very talented in art and drums. He was looking forward to being in the Mount Ogden Middle School Band. He wanted to be a Marine Biologist because of his love for dolphins and sea life. He often spoke of which career choice to choose: a marine biologist, artist, or musician. He had concluded he would do both, biologist by day and musician at night. He was always proud of his accomplishments. He was in Scouts and looking forward to learning and becoming a Deacon in the Grandview Ward. He beamed when others showed him friendship and complimented him on his achievements. He was also a very hard worker and proved it with his paper route. He awoke each day, rain or shine, for the past two years before 6:00 a.m. to complete his route. Austin has a heart that could not be equaled by anyone; he would always be helpful to those in need. He is survived by his loving parents, Mike and Colleen Perry; sisters KateLyn and Kristin; and brother Jason Perry; grandmother Joan Christiansen; Grandpa and Grandma Norwood; and Grandma and Grandpa Baca; Great Grandpa Heiner; Great Grandpa Perry; Great Grandpa Seabolt; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will love and miss him always. A special thank you to all those many people who have helped our family in this time of tragedy. As for our son and friend, we want all of you to know that we have always been proud of him and will miss him dearly. Funeral services were held May 25, 2004. Interment, Huntsville Cemetery.
