Show Volume VI, Issue IV THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Page 7 June 1, 2002 Liberty Jr. Posse Rodeo Queen Contest Slated The 2002 Jr. Posse Rodeo Queen Contest has been scheduled for Saturday, June 8 at 5:00 p.m. at the Liberty Park Arena. There will be three age categories for contestants: Queen, 14 to 16 years olds; 1st Princess, 11 to 13 year olds; and 2nd Princess, 7 to 10 year olds. Only Liberty Jr. Posse members will be competing in this contest. This year’s Jr. Posse team has 21 members. 1999 Liberty Days Queen Stephanie Van Dyke of Huntsville is directing this year’s Jr. Posse Rodeo Queen contest, along with Debi McEntire. Jr. Posse Royalty will compete with other coun- Brent Carver Memorial The Eden Park lost one of its greatest friends and supporters with the recent death of Brent Carver of Eden. Several co-workers have approached the Park Committee about construction of a permanent memorial (possibly a gazebo) at the park in memory of Brent. We would invite and welcome any local contri- ty posse royalty on June 21 and June 22 in Harrisville at the Weber County Sheriff’s Posse Arena.
