PRIMARY JUNE 25, 2002 General November 5, 2002 IN ORDER TO REGISTER AND VOTE YOU MUST: be a resident of Utah for at least 30 days before the next election be at least 18 years old by Election Day not be currently incarcerated as a felon YOU MUST RE-REGISTER IF: you have moved, except, in the case of Congressional elections, if you continue to reside within the same Congressional district and county, you may vote a provisional ballot at your new polling place you have changed your name since you last voted you have not voted in the last two elections you are not sure whether you are registered FOUR WAYS TO REGISTER: 1.By mail: Deadlines Primary: June 5 General: October 16 Get a mail-in registration form at a post office, library, bank, from the blue pages in the phone book, or from the Internet at www.utah.gov/ovr. Fill it out and mail it to your County (Elections) Clerk's office. 2.In Person Registration at your County Clerk's office 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Deadlines: Primary: June 17 General: October 28 3.In Person Registration at a state office. Deadlines: Primary June 5 General October 16 Register at a driver's license office when you apply for or change your license. The voter information card shows your district numbers for Congress, state senate and represen tative, state school board and local school board. Voting locations are listed by precinct number in the Sunday papers before Election Day.
