He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Leslie Shaw Les was born February 23, 1923 to John Ariel and Sophia Rhodes Shaw in Libert Utah where he lived his entire life. He married Carma LaRue Wheeler on March 13, 1969. Les loved his wife dearly, and his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Les retired from Hill Air Force Base after 31 years of service as an Airplane Mechanic. He had a love, and was actively involved in farming until the age of 80. He also served on several local committees, including the Liberty Cemetery and Liberty Pipeline. He enjoyed watching Utah Jazz games and riding his ATV around the farm. was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are his wife, Carma, Liberty; two sons, John (Colleen) Shaw and Nathan (Maren) Shaw, both of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley and Ethan, all of Boise; another granddaughter that will be born this week; two brothers, Blair (Lila) Shaw, Roy; and Marriner (Millie) Shaw, Roy; and a sister, Luleen (George) Stewart, Mesquite, Nevada s preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Russell and Reed Shaw; and a sister, Maxine Rasmussen. Funeral services were held at the LDS Church, 4150 Ni 3300 E., Liberty on Tuesday, April 4, Funeral reameaante by Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, with interment at the Liberty Cemetery. He was born Tales 16, 1977 to Donald Stuart Sutton Jr. and Tressa Ann James in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a very compassionate person and will be deeply missed. Ben was a gifted artist who saw beauty in everything. He loved music and snowboarding, and especially loved his friends. He found his purpose in life through his work helping troubled teens He is survived by his father Don and Patti Sutton, Ogden; his mother, Tressa and Dale Garner, Huntsville; grandparents, William K. and Shirley James, Huntsville; his uncles William C. James, Huntsville, John E. Curtis, Colorado Springs, CO, David Sutton, TX, and Danny Sutton, TX; and his aunts Sheri L. Garner, Bakersfield, CA, Holly Garner and family, Phoenix, AZ, and Patty Sutton, MO He also leaves behind his beloved friends. Ma: assed away on April 1, 2006 surrounded by her loving bane =z Leslie E Shaw “Mary had a meaningful and productive life. She worked a brief period of time for AT&T in New York City before marrying Edward Joseph W. White on September 17, 1942 in Brooklyn. They were blessed with five sons and two daughters. During their early marriage, Mary and Ed lived in Brooklyn, Virginia, and Washington D.C. They eventually moved to, and settled in, Ogden where Ed’s job with the Army Corp of Engineers brought them in 1943. Mary was a devout Catholic and served in various organizations in her parish. She be or ed in the state of Utah. he was Utah School for the Deaf and Blind. Mary White Though she held on to her big city roots, she developed a true love for the mountains, lakes, and wildlife of the West She is survived by her daughters Mary Anne (Roger) Fletcher, Huntsville; Kathleen (Samuel) Johnson, Houston, Texas; Tomas White, Ixtapa, Mexico, and Dan White of Ogden; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren who all adored her. A Mass of the Christian Burial was held Friday, April 7, 2006 at St. Florence Catholic Church, 6461 E. Hwy. 39, Huntsville, Utah with Father Charles Cummins officiating. Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Raphael Massa Raphael Massa, affectionately known as “grandpa” to tennis and ballroom dance students at Weber High School, died March 13, 2006 of pneumonia in New Port Richie, ri s a retired Army Major, after which whe taught and worked in Haines City, Florida forming lifelong friendships with Joe and Ginny Stangry and Phil, Martha, and —— sephen Carey. ael was born in Philadelphia, See ah to Eride Spadoni and George Massa. Ray graduated from Girard College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a draftsman. Raphael married Irene Southard Jasper November 26, 1942. Raphael and Raydell Stone Cobia were married June 7, 1991, and he became a loving grandpa, teaching tennis to nine grandchildren. Since 1991, Ray has served in various positions in the LDS Church. Surviving are: Wife Raydell CobiaMassa; step-family Mindy (Don), Austin; Stacia (Andrew Burgon, fiancé); ShayIn and Tyson Scott, all of Pleasant View, Utah; Aaron (Brianna) Scott, Lafayette, Indiana; Craig (Chantal), Jenna (Jyson and Jaydon Bratsman), Sarin (on LDS Mission-Sweden), Spencer (on LDS mission-Finland), and Devin Cobia, all of Sugar City, Idaho. Also surviving are Holly Vaughn, daughter, Denver, Colorado; Michael Monroe, brother, Chicago, Illinois; George Massa, brother, Tampa, Florida; Alex DeFonso, halfbrother, Delray Beach, Florida; Leanilda Wozniak, half-sister, Naples, Florida; two nieces, Georgina Glass, Tampa, Florida; and Phyllis Walker, Gainesville, Florida.
