Again, thanks to you all. like to thank our local There is something to be said about remembering For the benefit of those who refuse to consider history as a Sere in ne early 1930s Adolph Hitler cal ower in Germany. Within a few years he trashed 7 treaty provisions ended World War I and remilitarized tl industeal area of Germany. He soon to = over Austria then part of Czechoslovakia, and attacked Poland in 1939 and World War II began. The world stood around and did nothing early in Hitler’s power grabs, and the result was the greatest war in history. Fifty-five million people died around the world in World War II. It may have been prevented if governments had shown courage in dealing with a lunatic leader like Hitler. President Bush should be commended and supported for showing the courage to deal with the new Hitler-—Saddam Hussein. It would have just been a matter of time before Saddam nd his two sons were sitting astride the Middle East with weapons of mass destruction bought with their oil money. No American deaths can or should be accepted easily, but we lost 330,000 men in World War II. Ifwe can prevent carnage like that by being steadfast in Iraq, it may well be worth the price.
