Shellie Montgomery and Brett Peter Boyle were united in marriage March 12 in the Bountiful LDS Temple by Elder Marlin K. Jensen. A reception in their honor was held at the Maddox Lodge. The bride is the daughter of Ron and Jeanie Montgomery of Huntsville and is a graduate of Weber High School and is currently employed at Equity Title and Golds Gym. Parents of the bridegroom are Dale and Sandra Boyle of North Ogden. He also graduated from Weber High School and works at America First Credit Union. The new couple will live in Ogden after their honeymoon to Hawaii. Anniversaries Max L. and Betty S. Christensen Max L. West Point anniversary ne Restaurant. 1955 in the Obituaries childhood was spent in Willard, Utah where she enjoyed riding horses and climbing trees. She attended Willard Elementary School and Box Elder High School. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1954. Sheryl had a great love for learning. She attended Utah State University and Weber College. In the summer of 1954 she met the love of her life, Boyd Parsons. They were married in the Logan Temple on August 8, 1955. They began their newly married life in Willard where Boyd owned and operated a farm. In 1959 they bought a home in West Weber, Utah and began raising their children. In November of 1977 they sold their home in West Weber and moved to Pleasant View. Sheryl was an accomplished pianist and organist. She loved doing family history work and used her talent of writing to write biographies of many ancestors. She wrote poems for her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. As we now go on without her, we will cherish and remember the one-and-only moments she shared with each of us as she touched our lives with her love We wish to acknowledge the loving care given by the nurses and staff at the Utah Cardiology Center and the McKay-Dee Hospital. She is survived by her husband Boyd; her children Scott (Stacy) Parsons, Eureka, California; John (Judie) Parsons, West Haven, Utah; Ann (Jeff) Tippets, Plain City, Utah; Julie (Blair) Garner, Las Vegas, Nevada; Michelle (Rick) Orme, McCall, Idaho; Sherrie (Alan) Wheelwright, Eden, tah; 17 grandchildren; her brothers John Larkin and Wade Larkin both of Willard, Utah and her sister Lynda Wells of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Funeral services were held March 19, 2005 at the Pleasant View 2nd Ward Chapel located at 250 W. Alberta Dr. Interment, Willard Cemetery. He graduated from Weber High School and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 39 years of service. She was born in Ogden and raised in Huntsville. She graduated from Weber High School and retired from the Internal Revenue Service and HAFB after 25 years of service. Their interests include spending time with their family, camping, woodworking, trap shooting, quilting, and spending quiet afternoons on their deck. The served three LDS missions: Orlando, Florida; at the cattle and citrus ranch, den Mission Office; and the Distribution Center in Layton. Both are active members in their church and have held many callings over the years. Their children and their spouses are Jeanene and Ted Atkinson, Ogden; Linda Cox, Salt Lake City; Rodney and Vickie Christensen, oe and Patricia and Chris Haggard, Clin They have 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. William M. and JoAnn J. Reese William M. and JoAnn Jones Reese celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. They were married March 18, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Raised in South Ogden, he graduated from Weber High School. He received a doctorate of education from the University of Utah. Except for six years spent with the family in Japan and Germany, he worked for the Weber School District. He was a teacher, prineib and retired superintendent of the distri He has been active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions including branch president and bishop. His interests are family, reading, golfing, and traveling. Raised in Ogden, she attended Ogden City Schools, graduating from Ogden High School. She worked at the St. Benedict’s Hospital and the Bon Marche while helping to put her husband through school. Later she taught at Page’s Daycare & Preschool in Roy. Active in the LDS Church, she held many positions on both the ward and stake levels, including Relief Society president. Her interests are family, reading, oil painting, cooking, and decorating. Their children are Rick and Sheri Reese, Arizona; Jana and Sergio De Souza, South Ogden; and Riko and JoAnn Reese, Clinton. They have 15 grandchildren. 6 Li aad Mee Vb Mesa Lois June Sniggs Lois June Sniggs Lois J. Sniggs of Eden, Utah died March 8, 2005 after an extended illness. She was born June 11, 1929 in Lorain, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Julia Urban White. Lois came to Ogden as an X-ray technician for the Saint Benedicts Hospital. While working for a realtor in Ogden, she met Neal Sniggs. She married Neal on September 5, 1964. She became a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother all on this day. Lois and Neal owned and operated the Gray Cliff Lodge for many years where she enjoyed the friendship of many employees and customers. She enjoyed singing in many choirs, caring for her roses, and traveling. She and Neal have enjoyed spending the winter in Arizona for many years. Lois was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden and Queen Esther Chapter of the Order of the Eastern tar. She is survived by her husband Neal and his children Kathi Jo (Parry) Smith, Steve (Jody) Sniggs, and Nan Downing; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and extended family in Ohio. Funeral services were held March 15, 2005 at Leavitt’s Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Shriner’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Sheryl Parsons Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, Sheryl Ann Larkin Parsons, peacefully left her mortal body on Monday, March 14, 2005. Sheryl was the first child born to John Rulon Larkin and Helen Wade Larkin on September 24, 1936.
